Quality
One of the primary goals of Mount Carmel Health Partners is to continuously improve the quality of health care services that are delivered and provided to patients in central Ohio. To achieve that goal, we take on these performance improvement activities:
- All physicians undergo a rigorous evaluation process prior to becoming a member of Health Partners based on board certification, quality and malpractice history. All physicians are re-credentialed every three years to ensure they are maintaining the quality standards required by the organization.
- Health Partners' boards of directors and committees are made up primarily of practicing physicians who are fully aware of the processes and quality initiatives of managed care and who are active in strategies to maximize the quality of health care services provided to patients.
- Health Partners' Medical Director and Director of Performance Improvement are actively engaged with member physicians in quality improvement activities.
