Michele has over 30 years of experience representing physicians and managed care plans in diverse settings, and has served as Health Partners' Executive Director since 2004. Prior to joining the organization, Michele served as the Executive Director of a physician organization in Youngstown, Ohio. Her leadership and commitment to excellence are helping Health Partners achieve its vision of high quality and effectiveness.
Medical DirectorDan Wendorff, M.D. Dr. Wendorff has served as Health Partners Medical Director since the fall of 2009. Dr. Wendorff is instrumental in the development of the organization's Clinical Integration strategy and quality programs. He serves as the Chair of Health Partners Quality and Clinical Integration Committee and Information Technology Committee. Dr. Wendorff is also serves on the Credentialing Committee of Health Partners. Dr. Wendorff is practicing Primary Care Physician in Grove City, Ohio.

Karen Messer, Executive Secretary Provider RelationsOne of the added benefits of being a member of Health Partners is the Provider Relations department. Provider Relations is responsible for helping Health Partners member physicians resolve managed care or third-party payer disputes or problems. Provider Relations helps bridge the gap between the member physician and the managed care corporation or third-party payer.
Provider Relations also performs the additional service of monitoring payers for contract compliance. We monitor contracts for any issues that may adversely affect your practice. As a member physician you'll also receive a summary for each contract in advance and be given the choice to participate.
