About Us
Thank you for visiting the new Mount Carmel Health Partners website. Health Partners is a physician-hospital organization composed of primary care physicians, speciality physicians and the Mount Carmel Health System, partners who are dedicated to improving patient care and clinical outcomes in Central Ohio.
Health Partners and its member physicians are actively engaged with our Health Plan partners, patients and community to improve the delivery and quality of healthcare in Central Ohio. Mount Carmel Health Partners is actively pursuing Clinical Integration among primary care physicians, specialist physicians and Mount Carmel Health System, with end goals of healthcare quality improvement and the ability for the physicians and the hospital to enter into various quality and performance improvement programs which will reward clinical improvement and excellence.
2009 Commitment to Quality Report
Health Partners is excited to announce the publication of our Commitment to Quality Report for 2009. This is the second edition of the report and details the many activities of the past year, along with current and future initiatives. We are excited to share this report with our colleagues and partners in the community.
The term "Clinical Integration" is used throughout the report and is also the strategic direction of the organization. Like similar organizations throughout the country, we believe Clinical Integration will enable Health Partners physicians and hospitals to not only survive, but thrive in an environment where collaboration on clinical quality is key to success. Collaboration is also the right thing to do to best serve the patients Health Partners physicians and hospitals care for.
Partnerships in the healthcare industry are important to the success of Clinical Integration. Working together enhances the opportunities to improve care processes, while encouraging patients to become more involved in their own care resulting in improved outcomes and reduced costs. As you read through this report, you will note that the programs Health Partners has launched are moving the organization toward accomplishing these objectives. We welcome your participation in these initiatives. Collaboration is key to our success.
Mount Carmel Health Partners would like to invite your practice and staff to our upcoming OSHA and Coding seminars. Your practice is invited to attend even if you are not a member of Health Partners. Health Partners is a physician-hospital organization that have been in existence since the early 1990's, has over 1,400 physician members in Central Ohio and is affiliated with the Mount Carmel Health System. CareNet recently merged with the organization. Health Partners has been holding educational programs for our members and non-members since the organization was formed.
